KDV De Boomgaard

Welcome to KDV De Boomgaard, located in the heart of the Waterrijk neighborhood in Woerden. Our daycare center is part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens and has been providing loving childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years since 2011. In our beautiful building at Kallameer 25, we have space for 104 children, divided across three vertical groups, two baby groups and two toddler groups. At De Boomgaard, we work according to our 'Pedagogical Heart'. This means we give children the space to feel comfortable and have fun, because only then can they grow and discover optimally. Our baby groups are furnished with soft colors and materials, where the littlest ones can snuggle, discover and develop. For the toddler groups, where children from 2 years are welcome, we have activities and toys that perfectly match their age and already prepare them for elementary school. Our vertical groups offer the perfect balance between different ages. We have set up various age-specific play areas, such as a cozy home corner and a challenging construction corner. The toys are diverse and tailored to different developmental levels. The youngest children have both low and high cribs, ensuring they are always visible and audible within the group. Outside, we have a beautiful, enclosed playground where children can bike, climb and play in the sandbox to their heart's content. Inside, we also have a large indoor play hall for days when the weather is less cooperative. The bedrooms are directly accessible from the group areas, so children can always rest close to their familiar environment. Under the name 'Koekeloere', we offer extra development-oriented activities for children from 3 years. These activities playfully prepare them for elementary school and let them get acquainted with other groups and staff. We believe in a rich environment where playing equals discovering and learning.
