Welcome to KDV De Bonte Koe, a unique agrarian daycare located on a real farm at Honingloweg 30A in Losser. For over 10 years, we — Mirjam and Monique, mother and daughter — have been offering children aged 0 to 4 a safe, warm, and natural environment to grow and play. Our daycare is intentionally small-scale, ensuring every child receives the personal attention they deserve. We believe in the power of nature and outdoor life. Children wear boots and overalls as they explore the fields, feed the sheep, collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop, and cuddle the rabbits. Our animal pasture and large outdoor space, designed with natural materials, offer endless opportunities for discovery, play, and learning. We operate with horizontal groups: a separate baby group and toddler/preschool groups, allowing activities and care to be perfectly tailored to your child’s developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with enthusiasm and creativity. We do not follow a fixed methodology but instead focus on the individual needs of each child. We provide early childhood education (VVE) through the ‘Uk en Puk’ program, giving children a strong start for primary school. We also regularly cook and bake together, work in the vegetable garden, and make full use of everything the farm and nature have to offer. At De Bonte Koe, everything is designed to give children a rich, warm, and safe day. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and offer care based on fixed days. Diapers are included, as well as fruit, snacks, and drinks. We warmly invite you for a tour and a personal introduction.
