KDV De Bongerd

KDV De Bongerd is a welcoming and safe place for children aged 0 to 4 located at Vaassenseweg 3 in Terwolde. Our daycare center is part of Kindcentrum de Bongerd, where childcare and education go hand in hand within one familiar building. Our pedagogical staff ensure that all children can play, experience and discover in a homely environment. We operate with a vertical group, where children of different ages are cared for together. This creates an environment that mirrors the home situation and promotes children's social skills. Within this group, we create a familiar and safe atmosphere in which every child, from baby to toddler, can develop optimally. Our pedagogical staff play an essential role by encouraging play and adapting to each child's individual development. For toddlers aged 2 to 4, we offer the Early Childhood Education program (VE). We work with the VE program Uk en Puk, which prepares toddlers for primary school through play. Toddlers from 2.5 years with an Early Childhood Education indication are very welcome. Our pedagogical staff provide toddlers with a great program every daycare day that matches their developmental level. Before your child starts daycare, we conduct an intake interview. In this conversation, you'll receive additional information about our childcare and we'll fill in a form about your child together. Additionally, we schedule one or two settling-in sessions so your child can gradually get used to the new environment. We communicate with parents through the KOVnet parent app. Here you'll find your contract, newsletters and notes written by our staff. Every month you'll find the invoice and at the end of the year the annual statement. Through the app, you can also report sickness or vacation, request a swap day or extra childcare. KDV De Bongerd is here for children from 10 weeks to 4 years from Terwolde and surrounding areas. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 18:30. With sufficient interest, care on Wednesday and Friday is also possible.
