KDV de Blieken

Welcome to KDV de Blieken, located at Klaverbladstraat 1 in the heart of Klaaswaal. We are part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Blieken, where childcare, preschool, primary school and after-school care come together seamlessly under one roof. Since 8 May 2017, De Blieken has been the first child centre in the Hoeksche Waard; a place where children aged 0 to 13 can play, learn and grow according to the same core values: helpful, kind, calm and proud. We have HEART for one another. Our day-care centre works with two horizontal age groups. Our start group offers a safe home base for babies and toddlers from 0 to 2 years. The toddler group is open to children from 1.5 to 4 years. Depending on development and challenge, a child can move up to the toddler group from 18 months onwards. Each group room is furnished with furniture and play materials that are precisely tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. In addition, we can use other rooms within the IKC for specific activities, such as the central hall or the playroom. KDV de Blieken has room for a maximum of 41 children and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under LRKP number 310947522. We are open Monday to Friday and offer both full and half-day care. Thanks to the close cooperation with the primary school and preschool within the same building, children experience a smooth and familiar transition to primary education. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to guide your child with HEART in a warm, safe environment.
