KDV De Bibelebontseberg - Brede Daltonschool de Meer

Located on the ground floor of Daltonschool De Meer at Van ’t Hofflaan 52 in Amsterdam-Oost, KDV De Bibelebontseberg – Brede Daltonschool de Meer welcomes up to 16 children aged 0–4 in a single, cheerful group called ‘De Bijtjes’. Our room opens directly onto the school playground and has its own secure outdoor corner where children can explore and play to their heart’s content. Our daily programme is built around three pillars: Art, Nature and Movement. Every day we offer sensory-rich activities—singing, dancing, painting, feeling natural materials and taking short trips to the nearby Frankendael park. Babies rest in a separate sleeping area, while older toddlers already practise basic Dalton elements such as task boards, buddy systems and planning chains. In this playful way we familiarise them with planning, collaboration and independent work—skills that ease the transition to primary school. Our certified team of pedagogical staff greets every child with a warm smile each morning. We value personal attention and a homely atmosphere; parents often describe us as a second home for their child.
