KDV De Berendijk is located at Zwanenburgerdijk 511 in Zwanenburg and is part of Kindercentrum De Berendijk, a private childcare organisation that has been providing care for over 30 years. We believe children should feel at home in daycare, so we create a safe place with a homely atmosphere and familiar staff for parent, caregiver and child. Our daycare centre uses horizontal groups, meaning children of the same age are together in one group. We have the Puppy group (0-1 years), Elephant group (0-2 years), Bear group (1-2 years), Tiger group (2-4 years) and Fish group (2-4 years). Each group has its own team of pedagogical staff who provide a consistent daily rhythm and work with recurring yearly themes. Where possible, groups organise joint activities to promote social development. Safety is paramount at our centre. The facility is equipped with an access system where every parent or caregiver has a personal entry badge. Children can play safely in our spacious garden with play equipment and there is plenty of room for outdoor activities. We provide care for up to 80 children aged 0 to 4 years.
