KDV De Akker

Welcome to KDV De Akker, part of the Integral Child Centre De Akker located at P.C. Hooftlaan 200 in Hengelo. We provide daycare for up to eleven children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, homely environment. Our group rooms are situated next to the primary school, allowing children to grow up in a familiar, green setting with a private patio, sandbox and play equipment. Our core values are ‘identity, fun, attention and trust’. We follow the Pyramid pedagogical programme, focusing on language, numeracy and social-emotional development. Our experienced pedagogical professionals give every child space to grow at their own pace. Babies relax on play mats in the fresh air, while toddlers explore, sing, craft and play in the garden. We believe in close parent involvement. Through the Partou app you receive daily photos, videos and messages about your child’s experiences. You can easily request a tour or schedule a no-obligation meeting with location manager Ilona Ceyren. KDV De Akker is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:15 pm.
