De Achtsprong (peutergroep)

Welcome to the toddler group of Kindcentrum De Achtsprong, located at De Brink 126 in the centre of Zutphen. We are part of Kindernet and work closely with De Achtsprong primary school. Together we form one integrated child centre where children aged 2 to 4 can take their first steps towards school in a safe, playful environment. Our toddler group operates as a horizontal group for up to 16 children. We use the development-oriented Startblokken method, stimulating language, motor skills and social development through current themes and play activities. Children with an early-education (VVE) indication can join from 2.5 years, ensuring every child gets a flying start. The toddler rooms are situated right next to the school’s kindergarten groups, allowing toddlers to become familiar with the school setting and giving kindergarteners the option to play with us when they need extra reassurance. Regular outings to the nearby shopping centre turn simple errands—buying bread at the baker’s or groceries at the supermarket—into educational adventures. Our dedicated team of enthusiastic pedagogical professionals is ready to guide your child every day. We work from a basis of trust, calm and routine, paying close attention to each child’s individual development.
