Dak Schelpkade

Welcome to Dak Schelpkade, our daycare centre located in the leafy Willemspark district of The Hague. We offer a warm, homely place for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 years, where they can play, explore and simply be themselves. Our building breathes calm and space: high ceilings, large windows and an open, light atmosphere in which children immediately feel safe. Babies and toddlers are given every opportunity to crawl, climb and discover the world. The familiar faces of our permanent team provide a consistent daily rhythm and personal attention, so that every child feels seen and secure. Outside, a large green garden awaits, fully tailored to the youngest ages. The play areas are arranged so that even the very smallest can safely enjoy the outdoors. There is plenty of room to run, build sandcastles or simply lie in the grass. Inside, the children’s crafts hang proudly on the wall – a cheerful reminder that this is a place where life is lived and play comes first. We believe it is important that parents feel just as welcome as their children. That is why we truly take time for handovers, listen to your story and share our observations.
