Welcome to Coters Kinderopvang, a warm and homely daycare center located at Koningin Julianastraat 5a in the heart of Tholen. We provide small-scale childcare for up to 16 children daily, aged 0 to 4 years. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. At our center, everything revolves around loving care and individual attention. We believe every child is unique and develops in their own way. Therefore, we tailor our guidance and activities to meet your child's specific needs. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a safe and secure environment where children can be completely themselves. Our cozy group space is divided into various play areas and has a warm, homely atmosphere. Children can engage in free play, develop imaginative play, or participate in constructive activities. We have a beautiful outdoor playground where children can play and explore to their heart's content. Even babies are taken outside regularly, either in the shaded area or in a warm stroller. We follow a clear daily rhythm that aligns with the needs of young children. There's ample attention for language development: we talk extensively with the children and accompany all activities with language. Music and dance are also part of our offerings - we regularly play cheerful music and organize specific dance and music activities. Creative expression is highly valued at our center. We regularly craft with children using various materials. Children who don't want to participate in crafting don't have to - we respect each child's choice. The craft creations are proudly displayed in the group area. Meal times are important moments of togetherness and connection. We eat together at the table with fresh products. Our pedagogical staff eat along and serve as role models. We accommodate any allergies and special dietary requirements in consultation with parents. Each child is assigned a personal mentor who closely monitors their development. We work with development portfolios and organize regular parent meetings. For children under 2, we keep a notebook with information about eating, drinking, sleeping, and any special occurrences. Safety and trust are central to our approach. We work with permanent pedagogical staff, creating bonds of trust. The GGD conducts annual unannounced inspections to ensure we meet all safety requirements.
