Coccinelle

Welcome to Coccinelle, a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Nijmegen. We are located in the beautiful Albertinum Monastery at Heyendaalseweg 127G, just a stone’s throw from Radboud University, HAN University of Applied Sciences and Radboudumc Medical Centre. Our building borders a spacious park, so we can enjoy the outdoors every single day. Coccinelle has two baby-toddler groups and two toddler-preschool groups. This horizontal grouping allows us to truly know every child – and every parent. Each child receives an individual approach that matches his or her stage of development. Our passionate and experienced pedagogical professionals are the warm, beating heart of Coccinelle. Each morning they greet the children with a song, a cuddle and a chat with the parents, so everyone gets the day off to a good start. We provide a safe and stable base for children from 0 to 4 years old. In addition to familiar play corners such as the construction area, the home corner and the reading corner, we regularly work on theme projects that we proudly present during a cosy parents’ evening. We also organise activities such as yoga, music lessons by a dedicated music teacher, and cooking or baking in our own kitchen studio. Every day we go outside: playing in our own garden or exploring the adjacent park. In this playful way children learn from nature and from each other. Coccinelle is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 52 weeks a year, except on national holidays. The minimum placement is two full days per week; only on Wednesdays and Fridays is a one-day placement possible.
