CKC De Ark

Welcome to CKC De Ark at Boterland 2 in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. We are a Christian child centre offering day-care for children aged 0-4, a playgroup for toddlers, and after-school care. From 2024 onwards we are housed in a brand-new building where every facility is modern and child-friendly. Our youngest guests are placed in horizontal baby and toddler groups. Babies (0-2 years) enjoy calm, homely rooms with separate sleeping areas; toddlers (2-4 years) learn and play in spacious areas designed to stimulate development. We follow Early Childhood Education programmes that foster language, numeracy and social skills from an early age. Our staff use baby and child signing alongside spoken language: simple signs support understanding and give children the chance to express themselves early, strengthening the bond with their carer and reducing frustration. Parental involvement is important to us. Each day we keep you informed through the Konnect parent app, and twice a year we host enjoyable parent-and-child events. We invite you to share in your child’s development and work together to ensure every child at CKC De Ark can shine, grow and learn in a safe, loving environment rooted in Christian values. Day-care opening hours are Monday to Friday from 06:30, 07:00 or 07:30 until 18:00. Half-day sessions are available and flexible arrangements can be discussed.
