CK De Herberg Hofje van Eden

Welcome to CK De Herberg Hofje van Eden, a warm Christian toddler care facility in Leidsche Rijn where children aged 2 to 4 feel completely at home. We are located at the Eben-Haëzerschool on Madridstraat 3 in Utrecht and provide small-scale care for up to 15 children per day. Our toddler group is open on Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Everything we do revolves around growth in the Christian faith. That's why we work with the unique 'LEEF!' program. In this program, children playfully become acquainted with Christian themes such as 'living for something' and 'following something'. We use beautiful discussion pictures and coloring pages to bring the stories to life. Music plays an important role in our daily activities. We sing together, make music, and use rhythm and sound to stimulate the children's development. Our Christian toddler care provides a safe and familiar environment where each child gets the space to develop at their own pace. We believe in small-scale care and personal attention. Every Thursday morning is a celebration of discovery, play, and learning. We work with themes that connect to toddlers' world of experience and use creative materials to spark their imagination. During school holidays, our toddler group is closed, so our pedagogical staff can also take a breather and we can start fresh for a new period. We find it important that parents and children feel welcome with us. That's why we're always open to questions and are happy to make time for personal contact.
