Welcome to Chubby Cheeks Daycare at Van den Endelaan 5D in Hillegom. We are a small-scale childcare centre where up to 23 children aged 0-4 feel right at home. Our cosy building has a challenging garden with a climbing frame, sandpit, water-play tub and bikes in every size. Whenever the weather allows, the children play outside daily and help tend our vegetable patch and fruit trees. We eat as much as possible from our own garden and consciously choose organic products. Personal attention is at the heart of what we do. Our permanent team of experienced pedagogical staff know every child and every parent. We work in both horizontal and vertical groups, so brothers and sisters can play together and children can develop at their own pace. We offer baby and toddler groups and are flexible in meeting parents’ wishes. Hourly payment is possible and extra sessions can be swapped free of charge when space is available. Creativity matters to us. Children can choose whether they want to draw, paint, model with clay, cut, stick or simply enjoy messy play with glue. Music and dance get plenty of attention: they are great ways to release energy and have fun. In between, we serve healthy meals following the Dutch Nutrition Centre guidelines. Safety, security and respect are our top priorities. Every child is free to be themselves and is given time for a cuddle or a story on a lap. We communicate in Dutch and can discuss matters in English with parents if preferred. In short, at Chubby Cheeks Daycare your child feels at home.
