KDV Christoffeltje peutergroep

Welcome to KDV Christoffeltje peutergroep, a warm and small-scale childcare location of Stichting Istia in the heart of Venlo. We provide childcare based on anthroposophical principles for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. In our toddler group we work with one fixed core group of maximum 12 children, where rest, rhythm and repetition are central. Each day follows a fixed daily rhythm that provides children with structure and security. Our pedagogical staff create a loving environment where children can develop at their own pace. We work from the conviction that children don't need to be constantly entertained, but should have space for healthy boredom and self-initiated play. Through imitation, free expression and experiential learning, children discover the world around them. The activities we offer focus on creative development and natural play. We bake bread with the children, where they see, smell and taste how dough becomes bread. We provide space for music, drama and artistic expression. In our garden, children can play freely, build huts, climb and discover together. We consciously choose organic food and work with respect, reverence and gratitude towards children, parents and nature. KDV Christoffeltje peutergroep is open from 08:00 to 13:00 and therefore offers a solution for parents looking for morning or afternoon care.
