Welcome to Kindcentrum De Morgenster, located at Fazant 6 in Genemuiden. We are a Christian Integral Child Centre (CIKC) offering childcare, pre-school playgroup and primary education under one roof. Our daycare is specifically designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. We provide a safe, homely environment in which every child feels seen and valued. Our motto is: "Seeing children and offering a safe environment." At De Morgenster, teachers and pedagogical professionals work closely together as one team. This ensures a seamless connection between the learning and development lines of childcare and education. We use horizontal groups, with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers playing and learning in age-based groups. Early childhood education (VE) is offered, allowing your child to develop language and numeracy skills through play from an early age. Our child centre is founded on Christian principles. We start every day with God and tell a Bible story on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays using the ‘hear the word’ method. Our identity permeates everything we do, from learning psalm verses to celebrating Christian holidays. For parent communication we use the Parro app. Through this app you can easily report your child sick or exchange messages with the staff. We highly value open cooperation with parents and regularly organise parent meetings and drop-in sessions. Our daycare has separate sleeping areas and a spacious garden with play equipment. We work with fixed daily routines, focusing on rest, regularity and cleanliness. Half-day care is available.
