KDV Chateau Heiloo

Welcome to KDV Château Heiloo, our small-scale and cozy daycare center located at Stationsweg 128 in Heiloo. We are the smallest daycare center in Heiloo and the surrounding area, and that makes us special. With only 16 childcare places, we create a homely environment where every child feels safe and seen. Our team of dedicated professionals is ready every day to provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our concept is unique in the region. We combine the knowledge of Montessori and Pikler with the anthroposophical philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. This approach perfectly aligns with our conviction that every child is unique, with their own needs and unique talents. By connecting with each individual child, we don't fill an empty bottle with 'how it should be', but we ignite a fire. This way we stimulate the child's own strength so they can grow into who they are meant to be. Becoming yourself together, that's what we stand for. For the youngest children, we have set up a separate baby group since 2021. In the 'Treasure Room' on the first floor, children aged 0 to 2 years are cared for by specialized baby caregivers. When children are ready, they move to the 'Castle Room', where they can stay until their 4th birthday. This horizontal group structure provides peace and familiarity for both children and parents. Safety and health are our top priorities. We daily check that our protocols are properly implemented. We work with organic food and create an open and calming space with natural products. Our self-managing team of skilled, trained and committed caregivers focuses entirely on what really matters: the children. For daily communication, we use the Parent App and Parent Portal from Bitcare, through which parents can easily request cancellations, extra days or exchange days.
