KDV Chapeau Est

KDV Chapeau Est has been located in the primary school of Est since January 2022. We run a single vertical group for children aged 0–4, where babies and toddlers play and learn together. The familiar faces greeting your child every day are Linde, Geneviève, Geralda and Helma; a trainee often joins us as well. This creates small-scale, homely childcare with trusted caregivers and lots of personal attention. We share the entrance with the school, yet have our own secure space fully tailored to the needs of the very youngest. Outside, the children use the school garden and natural playground; nature and movement are central to our daily programme. KDV Chapeau Est has been proudly certified with the Green Childcare Quality Mark for several years. This means we structurally devote attention to nature and environmental education, healthy food and plenty of outdoor play. Each year we celebrate “Green Childcare Day” and work thematically around seasons, plants and animals. Our approach focuses on seeing children in a positive light and making use of their individuality. We follow the rhythm of your baby or toddler: sleeping, eating and playing occur whenever the child needs it. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and healthy snacks; nappies and care products are supplied by parents according to our illness and nutrition policy. For toddlers we offer play and developmental activities that match their curiosity and stage of development. Communication with parents is direct and personal; the language used throughout Chapeau Kinderwerk is Dutch. KDV Chapeau Est is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 247546781) and is supervised by GGD Gelderland-Zuid, allowing you to apply for childcare allowance.
