KDV Chapeau Enspijk

Welcome to KDV Chapeau Enspijk, our small-scale daycare centre in the heart of West-Betuwe. We provide care for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely environment where every child is seen and valued. Our location consists of two buildings. In the annex you will find Petit Chapeau: a cosy baby group with a warm living-room atmosphere where the very youngest receive the peace and attention they need. They even have the opportunity to sleep outside in our outdoor cribs, enjoying the fresh air. In the main building is our Leefgroep: a vertical group where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. Siblings can stay together in one group, increasing their sense of security. This group works with themes around Uk & Puk, with Puk being our friend who experiences all the adventures with us. Our staff hold the 'baby specialist' certificate and one fixed carer per day looks after the very youngest so they have a familiar face. We also offer a playgroup focused on children's development in preparation for primary school. Here too we work with Uk & Puk and the same themes are used, so children experience a continuous learning line. We have a shared kitchen where we cook together, a discovery garden with trampoline and tunnel, a vegetable garden and even an animal meadow with chickens and sheep. In this way children learn about nature and the importance of caring for other living things through play. At Chapeau we believe that exercise and being outdoors are very important. We regularly walk through Enspijk with our push-car, make use of our garden and visit our animal meadow. We proudly carry the quality mark Green Childcare from Stichting Groen Cement. We believe that children develop more broadly and quickly by being active and playing, both indoors and outdoors.
