Welcome to BuitenPeuters, our brand-new daycare centre at Westkanaalweg 120B in Ter Aar. We are part of Kindcentrum De Boomhut and offer small-scale childcare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Being outdoors, exploring and free play in tune with nature are at the heart of everything we do. Our setting is a former scout building that we transform daily into a warm, adventurous home-from-home. Children tend the vegetable garden, enjoy camp-fires, hunt for mini-beasts and have endless space to move. Inspired by the Pikler approach, we give children time and freedom to discover on their own, nurturing self-confidence, motor skills and social development. We are a certified Early Childhood Education (VVE) location, providing a playful and meaningful preschool programme that matches young children’s world. Our qualified staff are committed professionals who truly see each child and guide them with trust. Hot meals, restful moments in the fresh air and a rich environment complete the day. At BuitenPeuters children grow to their fullest, in freedom and connection with nature.
