KDV Buitenleven

Welcome to KDV Buitenleven, located in a characteristic farmhouse at Middenweg 77 in the heart of Middenbeemster. On this unique site we provide small-scale, professional childcare for up to 42 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 April 2016 under number 162701731. Everything we do revolves around the natural farmhouse setting. Children play daily in our large, secure nature garden and get to know our small farm animals. When agreed with parents, children can even nap outdoors so they enjoy the fresh air to the fullest. We operate horizontal groups, caring for babies and toddlers separately with a responsible ratio of maximum 5 children per carer in the baby group and 8 children per carer in the toddler group. Flexibility is key: parents choose either regular or flexible care, and both full and half days are available. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 18:30; we are closed on public holidays. Each afternoon we serve a warm, predominantly organic meal. Nappies and formula are included, allowing parents to delegate without worry. In short, at KDV Buitenleven we give children the space—literally and figuratively—to be themselves and develop at their own pace, right in the middle of a natural and safe farm environment.
