KDV Bron Blinker

Welcome to KDV Bron Blinker, located at De Blink 5 in the heart of Bolsward. We provide professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and secure environment. Our daycare centre is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and works closely with primary school De Blinker, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. At KDV Bron Blinker we work with small-scale groups where babies and toddlers are cared for separately from the preschool group. This horizontal group system provides calm, overview and maximum attention for each child. Our childcare staff are certified in first aid and offer a warm, safe base in which every child can develop at his or her own pace. We have a spacious, green outdoor playground where children can romp, explore and play in nature. Inside there is a separate sleeping room for the youngest and a cosy preschool group where we work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. Language development is an important part of our programme; we read aloud, sing songs and stimulate vocabulary through conversation and play. Creative activities such as crafts and painting are also part of the daily routine. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Therefore we work with familiar faces, a clear daily structure and a homely atmosphere. In between, the children receive a healthy snack and drinks. For children with allergies or special dietary requirements, we of course make appropriate arrangements with parents.
