Brikkies Childcare Kerkstraat 2a has been our second location in the centre of Heesch since April 2024. Just like at our familiar Rembrandtstraat site, we offer a small-scale daycare where up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 can play, sleep and grow at the same time. Small scale, personal attention and a homely atmosphere are our top priorities; we are literally a second home for your child. Inside we work with a small, permanent team of pedagogical staff. This continuity of familiar faces creates trust and helps every child feel safe and at ease quickly. The rooms are furnished in a cosy, homely style with warm, calm colours. We create different play corners so that every child can choose what suits them and develop at their own pace. Our greatest asset is the 400 m² inner garden directly adjacent to the group room. This green discovery garden is fully designed for nature and outdoor experience: a climbing hill, a spacious sandpit, winding paths for cycling and soon our own vegetable garden. Playing outside is not a special activity for us, but the norm. It stimulates motor development, increases resistance and reduces stress. That is why our children also sleep outside in special outdoor cribs; the fresh air and soothing natural sounds help them sleep longer and deeper and produce extra vitamin D. We use a vertical group structure: children aged 0 to 4 are together. The youngest learn from the oldest, the oldest develop care and responsibility. Within this concept, every child is given the space to develop at their own pace, under the guidance of professionals who closely follow every step. No preschool education, but plenty of room for natural curiosity and discovery.
