KDV Bolsward Villafleur

Welcome to KDV Villafleur in the heart of Bolsward! We are a daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4, located at Burgemeester Praamsmalaan 31. With 48 childcare places, we offer a warm and safe environment where every child can develop at their own pace. At our centre, the child comes first. We provide loving attention and a sense of security, so children feel safe to play, explore and grow. We believe that play is the most powerful way to learn. That’s why we encourage children to simply play and be children – that’s what they’re allowed to be with us. Our location follows a bilingual policy. Both Dutch and Frisian receive focused attention. We follow the guidelines of the certificate “boartsjendewei in taal derby”, which we proudly hold. This approach is supported by the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO), with whom we collaborate to guide children’s language development optimally. We offer various forms of care: full days, half days or flexible care. This allows parents to choose what suits their situation best. We also work on preparing children for primary school, so they can take the next step with confidence. In short: at KDV Villafleur, children find a place where they can be themselves, where friendships are formed and where they discover who they are and what they can do through play.
