KDV Bij Ot en Sien

Welcome to KDV Bij Ot en Sien, located at Schoonloërstraat 49 in the heart of Grolloo. We are a small-scale daycare centre where a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years find a warm second home. Our homely character ensures that every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Everything we do revolves around creating a safe, loving environment in which children can develop optimally. We work with two base groups that match your child’s age and stage of development. For the very youngest we have quiet sleeping areas and changing corners; for toddlers and pre-schoolers an inspiring play and discovery space. Each of our pedagogical staff members is a mentor for a fixed group of children. They follow development through the Pravoo child-tracking system and are the first point of contact for parents. This mentorship strengthens attachment and builds trust. Our daily programme offers a pleasant mix of structure and free play. We sing and make music, dance, craft and puzzle. Outdoor play happens every day: in our own garden or on a walk through the village. Nature is our greatest classroom; children explore the world around them through play. Healthy meals and fresh fruit are included, as are nappies and bottle feeds for the very youngest. This means you don’t need to bring anything and we can fully align with the home situation. Open communication with parents is very important to us. Together we ensure that your child grows up radiant, safe and happy.
