Welcome to Bij de meiden Childcare on Duymaer van Twistweg 8 in Hoogeveen. Since 1 January 2017 we have provided daycare for children aged 0 – 4 in a warm, homely atmosphere. Every child is welcome and we believe every child is unique. Growing, playing and developing together is at the heart of what we do. Our daycare groups follow steady daily rhythms so that your child’s sleeping and eating schedule matches what they are used to at home. During a personal intake we discuss all details. We do not work with fixed half-day sessions: you may drop off between 06:00 and 19:00 and pick up whenever it suits you. Children learn through play. We sing, read aloud in our cosy book corner, take walks with a sturdy wagon and go outside every day. We also use the Uk & Puk programme, an official early-education curriculum that stimulates language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Activities are tailored to each child’s age and development and are guided by our enthusiastic, experienced team. All staff have completed a baby-care course and some have been working with children for over ten years. To help your child settle in gently, we offer three free settling-in days. We work closely with parents and carers; your input is invaluable. We regularly discuss your child’s progress and well-being.
