KDV Bij Boer Dolf

We are Teuny Lozeman and Linda Wingelaar. Together we have set up and shaped daycare centre Bij Boer Dolf. Our collaboration began in 2017 and has resulted in a beautiful daycare located on the monumental farmyard of Boer Dolf in a unique setting. Teuny and her husband Dolf live on the farm with their three children. Dolf was born and raised here and took over the business from his parents eleven years ago. He is the fourth generation to run a livestock farm on this site. It has always been a dream to create a stable second branch. By establishing a daycare centre on the farm, we can let children and their parents enjoy this special part of Nijkerk. The added benefit of growing awareness about where food comes from is a welcome bonus. Linda lives near the centre of Nijkerk and has three children. She has experience in education and toddler care and enjoys working with young children. During her master’s in pedagogy at HU, she delved into what young children need to develop to their full potential. The farm and nature offer many opportunities in this regard. We are very proud of our daycare centre. Due to its small scale, we can work with our staff and parents to further develop Bij Boer Dolf into a place where children feel at home and can play to their heart’s content. We are open 52 weeks a year from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. On official holidays and the day after Ascension Day, the daycare is closed. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, we close at 2:00 PM. Our gross hourly rate is €11.20. This includes diapers, fresh fruit, lunch, raw vegetables and steamed vegetables, water, milk and tea. Formula feeding is not included. We offer one type of contract for 52 weeks per year. Only full-day care is available.
