Betuwse streken Echteld

Welcome to Betuwse streken Echteld, our daycare centre located at Achterstraat 27 in the heart of Echteld. We are part of Villa Kakelbont childcare and have provided small-scale, secure care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 since 7 July 2022. Everything we do revolves around creating a familiar environment where young children are free to develop at their own pace. We use horizontal groups so that babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers each receive the attention suited to their age. Our professional staff offer warm care, a clear daily rhythm and plenty of outdoor play. Every day we go outside—sun, wind or a little rain—because outdoor movement makes children resilient and happy. Our spacious outdoor playground gives ample room to climb, explore and play together. Language and nature are central to our activities. We read aloud, sing songs and use the rich Betuwe landscape to expand the children’s vocabulary in a playful way. Nature is our biggest teaching resource: we look for animal tracks, feel leaves and learn concepts like ‘under’, ‘over’ and ‘behind’ by experiencing them first-hand. Healthy food and exercise are a given; we set the example and ensure every child gets the energy they need to grow. In short, Betuwse streken Echteld is a place where your child feels safe, seen and challenged. We work closely with parents and focus on each child’s individual needs. Together we create a warm, stable foundation where children love to come and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
