KDV Leeuwarden Bernelân

Bernelân Daycare is located in the Nylân district of Leeuwarden, close to Friesland College and Julianalaan. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe and stimulating environment. Our facility features a spacious indoor play area where children can climb, explore and play, as well as a large green garden that invites outdoor discovery and play. We use the recognized Early Childhood Education program Uk & Puk, delivered by our certified pedagogical staff. This program supports children's language and social development and gently prepares them for primary school. Our approach is bilingual: both Dutch and Frisian are used daily. Excursions are part of our daily routine. We take regular walks in the neighbourhood, visit schools and elderly care centres, and allow children to naturally explore the world around them. Daycare includes fruit, a bread meal and diapers. We do not offer flexible or alternate-week care. At Bernelân, we focus on emotional security, loving attention and tailored development. We work with fixed groups and short lines of communication, ensuring every child receives the calm and attention they deserve.
