Welcome to KDV Berkelwijk, where children are given all the space to be themselves. Our daycare center is located in a beautiful spot in Leusden, centrally in the municipality and part of a comprehensive school. We believe that being outdoors is essential for children's development. That's why our children go outside every day - bad weather doesn't exist for us, there's always something to discover! Our pedagogical staff create a familiar environment where children feel safe to grow at their own pace. We offer a large baby garden where the youngest can play and explore. Our unique food forest gives children the opportunity to learn about nature and healthy food. We work with VVE (preschool education) where we develop language and math skills through play. Sports and movement are central to our program. We organize daily various sports activities tailored to the children's age. Our toddler yoga is particularly popular and helps toddlers with their motor development and relaxation. Additionally, we collaborate with the primary school on the same premises, enabling a beautiful transition. The children sleep wonderfully outdoors in our special outdoor sleeping areas, contributing to healthy sleep. We serve daily healthy and fresh meals and snacks.
