Welcome to KDV Berend Botje location De Speulboet in Wognum. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe, familiar environment where every child has the space to grow and develop. Our location at Conferencelaan 3 is part of Kinderopvang Berend Botje, one of the larger professional childcare organizations in North Holland. With us, everything revolves around growing through play. We see the diversity and talents of both children and colleagues and ensure that everyone is seen and heard. From this safe environment, children dare to take on challenges and further develop themselves. We work with a pedagogical policy based on our vision of upbringing, which is included in our house rules. Our full-day care groups are intended for children from 6 weeks old until they go to primary school. We use a child tracking system (KVS) with which our pedagogical staff observe your child and can follow their development. Once a year we invite you for a 10-minute conversation to discuss the findings. We also use the Parent App, in which you can view photos and reports of your child's activities. For care, we ask parents to provide an extra set of clothes, pajamas and/or sleeping bag, rain gear and a sun hat. We pay a lot of attention to healthy nutrition and care. Bottle feeding and breastfeeding are supported and we take dietary requirements and allergies into account. We work with fixed settling-in moments and an intake interview before your child starts. During this conversation we get to know each other, exchange information about the care and upbringing of your child and record everything in the intake form. KDV Berend Botje location De Speulboet is open 51 weeks a year from Monday to Friday. We are closed on generally recognized public holidays, the Friday after Ascension Day and the week between Christmas and New Year. For care during closing days you can use our childminder agency.
