Berend Botje Daycare Den Ilp is located inside primary school De Fuik, right in the heart of the Waterland village of Den Ilp. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in two spacious, bright group rooms. Thanks to our location within the school building, we work closely with De Fuik’s teachers; this allows us to ensure a smooth transition from daycare to primary education. When a child is almost four, he or she already comes to meet the group 1 teacher and a warm hand-over takes place from our pedagogical staff to the teacher. In this way your child moves on to primary school feeling familiar and relaxed. Our site is surrounded by nature reserves such as ’t Twiske and the Ilperveld. The children therefore regularly head outside to explore; playing, learning and moving in the fresh air are central to our approach. The short distance to Amsterdam, Purmerend and Zaandam makes our daycare extra attractive for working parents who are looking for childcare close to home as well as close to their workplace. Kindercentra Berend Botje Den Ilp B.V. is part of the national Berend Botje organisation, which means we can draw on broad expertise and support while still preserving the warm, small-scale atmosphere of a village location.
