KDV Bakhuizen

Welcome to childcare Bakhuizen, part of SKIK Kinderopvang and located in the Integral Child Centre De Toekomst at Ageommeleane 14 in Bakhuizen. We provide children aged 0 to 4 with a warm, safe place to grow and develop. In our modern, bright group rooms every child quickly feels at home. Our regular pedagogical staff give each child personal attention and adapt to their individual developmental pace. Our daycare group is specially designed for the youngest children. We offer a quiet bedroom adjoining the group room, so children can sleep in a familiar environment. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding, nappies and care products. We also actively think along about nutrition in case of allergies or special wishes. We serve healthy snacks and bread meals, tailored to each child's age and needs. Outside, a beautiful green discovery garden full of adventure awaits. Here children can explore nature playfully, play together and let their imagination run free. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor activities and thus stimulate motor development. Inside we organise reading moments, craft activities and language games that support language development. Through our cooperation with primary school De Toekomst we seamlessly connect to early childhood education (VVE), so that children are playfully prepared for primary school. At SKIK, fun is central.
