Welcome to Babino Daycare Herman Gorter in the heart of Zaandam. We are located in the recently renovated building of OBS Herman Gorter and together with the school we form an integral child center (IKC). This means we work intensively together from one vision, one team and one plan, following your child from 0 to 13 years in one continuous line. Our daycare has one vertical group where children from 0 to 4 years play and learn together. This group has its own space in the school building, equipped with various play corners that invite discovery and development. Besides our indoor space, children can enjoy playing outside on the adjacent playground specially designed for the youngest children. For the smallest babies we have a special outdoor playpen where they can play quietly. We work thematically, with our activities aligned with the seasons and holidays. These themes are based on a developmental method that stimulates your child's broad development. Our pedagogical staff offer a rich range of activities where language, math, motor skills and social skills are developed through play. For toddlers we work with the VVE program Piramide Digital. Your child's care is central to us. We provide varied meals: fruit in the morning, vegetables in the afternoon and a warm meal at lunchtime in collaboration with Apetito. The meals are adjusted to the different ages. For the youngest ones, we of course provide diapers, wipes and bottle feeding. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 18:30.
