KDV Aquamarijn

Welcome to KDV Aquamarijn, located in the brand-new Integral Child Centre at Donker Curtiusstraat 4 in the heart of The Hague. Since 23 May 2023 we welcome up to 75 children aged 0 to 4 every day in a warm, homely setting. Our location is part of DAK Kindercentra and works closely with primary school Aquamarijn and SBO Aquamarijn, so your child can move on smoothly without leaving the familiar place. We work in small, age-based horizontal groups: separate baby, toddler and pre-school groups. Each group has its own permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff who know exactly what your child needs. Our pedagogical policy is built on the four basic goals of Marianne Riksen-Walraven: emotional safety, personal competence, social competence and the transfer of norms and values. We therefore provide peace, structure and challenge. Every day we ensure plenty of fresh air in our spacious, green playground and nature garden; even the youngest sleep safely in separate bedrooms with cots and baby beds. Nappies, wipes, bottle feeding, fruit and drinks are included. Does your child have an allergy or dietary requirement? We are happy to think along with you. Parents stay informed via our Konnect app with photos, reports and direct insight into invoices and data.
