Welcome to KDV Amby, our daycare centre in the heart of Amby, Maastricht. From 6 weeks to 4 years, your child is warmly invited to play, discover, learn and experience adventures every day. We are part of the Integrated Child Centre (IKC) Amby, so your child grows up in one familiar environment with familiar faces and a continuous development line. Our baby groups are specially designed for children from 0 to 2.5 years. Here the very youngest find a safe, quiet place where security and trust are paramount. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who get to know your baby well and tailor care entirely to his or her rhythm. Nappy changes, bottle feeding and nap times follow exactly the same pattern as at home. For children aged 2 to 4 we have challenging toddler groups. In the craft room your child can let creativity run free, while in the kitchen we cook and bake together. In this way toddlers learn through play about tastes, textures and cooperation. Every day we go outside; our spacious, safe outdoor area invites running, climbing, sand play and discovering nature. At KDV Amby your child's development is central. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE), so your child works playfully on language, numeracy and social skills. We work with horizontal groups, so children are in an age group that matches their stage of development. This promotes safety and allows us to tailor activities even better.
