Alvermanneke Daycare is located at Molenstraat 34 in the centre of Helmond and has been providing trusted and professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 1973. We are part of Spring Kinderopvang, an organisation committed to warm care, a safe environment and well-planned development. Up to 64 children can join us, divided into small-scale groups, each with its own outdoor play area. The indoor spaces are bright, spacious and homely, so every child feels at home right away. Discovery is at the heart of what we do. We have a beautiful natural garden where children explore the world around them through play. The garden invites crawling, climbing, balancing and hiding – in short, everything needed to stimulate both gross and fine motor skills. Indoors we work with themes that connect to the world of young children. We paint, craft, sing and read aloud. Whenever possible we integrate natural materials from our garden into creative activities. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and receive regular training. They use the VVE method Piramide, through which we teach language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. The youngest children follow calm, predictable daily routines with plenty of nap times in separate sleeping areas. For toddlers and pre-schoolers we organise challenging activities that match their curiosity and developmental pace. Together with the parent committee we host festive events each year, such as the popular Halloween party where almost all children attend in costume. Good communication with parents is essential to us. Every day you receive a short report telling you how your child experienced the day.
