Al Amana

Peutergroep Al Amana is part of Al Amana primary school located at De Clomp 2006 in Zeist. We provide care and development for children aged 2 to 4 within an Islamic framework. Each group welcomes up to 16 toddlers guided by two qualified pedagogical staff members. Our VVE programme (Pre- and Early-School Education) places special emphasis on language development, early numeracy and literacy, movement and independence. We work with themes such as ‘winter’ or ‘the farm’. Through singing, crafts and movement the children expand their vocabulary and practise social skills like sharing and taking turns. Toddlers who need extra support—e.g. because another language is spoken at home—can receive an additional 8 hours per week free of charge on top of the basic 8 hours. The child health clinic assesses eligibility for this extra support. We maintain close cooperation with the primary school: when your child moves on to grade 1 we share our observations with parents and the new teacher to ensure education aligns with your child’s development. You can enrol your child directly with us and are warmly invited to visit for a tour.
