AKROS Voorschool Joop en Willy Westerweel

Welcome to Voorschool Joop and Willy Westerweel! We are located at Balboaplein 44 in Amsterdam West, De Baarsjes. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility offers a pleasant and safe environment where your child can play and learn together with peers. At our preschool, we work with the Early Childhood Education (VVE) program Kaleidoscoop. This program seamlessly connects with the approach of the primary school. Through themes, we prepare your child for a good start at primary school. Your child learns to talk and listen, make friends, and interact with peers. This makes the transition to primary school much easier. We work intensively with Joop and Willy Westerweel primary school. This ensures a smooth transition from preschool to primary school. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in toddler development and create a challenging learning environment. We deliberately keep our groups small, so we can give each toddler the attention they deserve. At Voorschool Joop and Willy Westerweel, we believe it's important that every child feels safe and secure. Our location is designed to meet the needs of toddlers, with play areas that invite exploration and learning. We work with fixed daily routines where play, learning, and rest alternate.
