Welcome to Agrarische kinderopvang Het Kalfje, located on our beautiful farm at Hardenbergerweg 19a in Bergentheim. We provide professional childcare at a unique location where children can enjoy space, peace and nature. Our daycare center is housed in a former pigsty and the back house of the farm, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. At Het Kalfje we are right in the middle of the agricultural world. We are affiliated with the United Agricultural Childcare and work according to the VAK formula. Our pedagogical vision is fully focused on the natural environment of the farm. Children learn from an early age how products like milk are produced and get to know farm life on a daily basis. We take a look at the cows every day and the children are allowed to help farmer Gert or 'grandpa farm'. Our outdoor play area is specially designed for a real discovery tour in nature. The natural play area stimulates the imagination, creativity and motor development of your child. We have three daycare groups with space for up to 16 children per group, allowing us to accommodate a total of 48 children aged 0-4 years. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. Our location is easily accessible on the main road from Hardenberg to Mariënberg, in the rural surroundings of Oud-Bergentheim.
