Welcome to Agrarische kinderopvang De Zwijnenstal, a unique childcare location situated on our dairy farm at St. Lambertusstraat 108 in Cromvoirt. We are Stijn, Rowena, Fieke & Kees – the Van Rooij family – who have turned our dream into reality: a childcare facility where children aged 0 to 4 years can fully immerse themselves in the natural environment of a working farm. At our facility, children have all the space they need to play, learn and experience outdoors. We often start the day with a walk through our cowshed, where children can observe the animals up close. Then there's time for free play in our large outdoor area, where children can romp with ride-on toys or get creative with natural materials. Collecting fresh eggs is of course part of the experience! Our pedagogical approach is entirely focused on discovering nature, the seasons and farm life. Children learn from an early age in a playful way about animals, plants and the importance of sustainability. We believe that a child truly develops when given the space to explore and experience. De Zwijnenstal is set up on a small scale and accommodates 12 to 14 children per day, depending on their age. This ensures we have sufficient time and personal attention for each child. We are centrally located for families from Helvoirt, Cromvoirt, Vught, Drunen, Nieuwkuijk, Vlijmen, Heusden and surrounding areas. Our farm is a family business where generations have worked with passion for animals and nature. We are eager to pass on this love for farming to the youngest generation. At De Zwijnenstal, we combine childcare and guidance with the daily activities on our farm, resulting in a unique and educational environment for your child.
