Welcome to Agrarisch Kinderdagverblijf ’t Melktonnetje B.V., located at Tonsedijk 30a in Klundert. We are a newly registered daycare centre, officially listed in the National Childcare Register since 20 February 2025. Our facility is uniquely situated on a dairy farm, right in the middle of the meadows and among the cows. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a vertical group called 'de Kalfjes'. We follow the approach of the United Agricultural Childcare (Verenigde Agrarische Kinderopvang). Our pedagogical vision aligns with natural upbringing: we accept every child in their uniqueness, with their own rhythms and habits. We trust what the child indicates they want—whether that is sleeping shorter or longer, eating and drinking more or less, or choosing whether or not to join an activity. Together we focus on what the child needs and guide them at their own pace in their development, with attention and respect for individuality. Our agricultural and green environment forms the basis of our daily activities. The fresh air, daily care of animals, and observing the work on and around the farm provide an extra boost to the children’s development. We offer excursions to nearby farms or the bakery, and of course we also use our own farm. All activities we organise have a purpose; we follow the child rather than the other way around. It is not about the result, but about the process. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. Children can be dropped off between 07:00 and 09:00 and picked up from 16:30 to 18:00. We work exclusively with full days to create a calm atmosphere in the group. Childcare includes fruit, a bread meal, drinks, snacks and nappies. Parents are asked to bring formula, vegetable meals and any special diet or allergy food themselves.
