KC West

Welcome to KC West, our after-school care location at Nijhofflaan 11 in the heart of Veenendaal. We are part of Kwink Kinderopvang, an organisation with more than ten branches in the region. At KC West we provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a homely, quiet neighbourhood setting. Our pedagogical staff work closely with local primary schools, so children can come to us safely and confidently after school. We pick up and drop off the children, giving parents flexibility in their working hours. The groups are vertically arranged, allowing children of different ages to play together and learn from each other. At KC West, being outdoors is central. Our large garden and playground invite climbing, scrambling, discovering and sports and games activities. We organise creative workshops, cooking and baking, and regularly take trips to nature or cultural locations in the area. Warm meals, fresh fruit and healthy snacks are included, so every child goes home with a full stomach and a happy heart. Safety and personal attention come first. Our location has secure access and experienced staff who see and hear every child. We believe that children develop optimally when they are given the space to take initiative themselves, to work together and to colour outside the lines. That is why we offer a warm, challenging environment in which your child can grow at his or her own pace.
