BSO Wereldweijde

Welcome to BSO Wereldweijde, the place where school-age children from Bodegraven come together after school to play, discover and grow. We are located at Kindcentrum Wereldweijde on Cortenhoeve 51, under one roof with primary school Wereldweijde. This makes the transition from school to after-school care smooth for both children and parents. We provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. Our two cozy group rooms are specially designed for children aged 4-6 and 7+. Each space has a homely atmosphere with a kitchen corner, reading corner, games corner and a quiet area to unwind after a busy school day. We have plenty of challenging play materials and access to the school gym – a big favorite! Outside, two playgrounds await: an enclosed area next to our rooms and a larger space where children can climb, clamber and play football. We organize weekly activities tailored to children's interests, such as crafts, cooking, sports and games, nature activities and creative projects. Our pedagogical staff create a new activity program every two weeks. Children can contribute ideas and opinions – participation is always voluntary, as BSO time is free time. During school holidays we offer an adapted holiday program with fun outings and extra activities. We work from Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, expressing each intelligence in a 'KNAP'. This way we stimulate each child's broad development in their own unique way. Children from primary school Wereldweijde have priority, but children from other nearby schools are also welcome by arrangement. We use a parent app for daily updates with photos and messages.
