KC de Schakel

Welcome to KC de Schakel, our daycare center located at Langelaar 24 in Veenendaal. We are part of Kwink, an organization with over 10 locations in Veenendaal that believes children who feel comfortable develop optimally. At KC de Schakel, we provide care for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for in separate age groups. This creates a safe and development-focused environment that meets the specific needs of each child. We offer preschool education (VVE) utilizing our beautiful outdoor space with two playgrounds and a large garden. Children can play with natural materials, garden, and discover nature. Our pedagogical policy focuses on stimulating each child's own development, based on what children can do themselves. Our activities are focused on the development of young children and include music, arts and crafts, language development, sports and movement, and nature experience. We regularly organize short excursions in the immediate area and work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. For the youngest ones, we take care of everything: from diapers and wipes to bottle feeding and warm meals. We accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Children sleep in quiet bedrooms, respecting each child's natural sleep rhythms. At KC de Schakel, we value personal attention and a warm, homely atmosphere.
