Welcome to daycare De Draaimolen, located at Meidoornsingel 126 in the Schiebroek district of Rotterdam. As part of gro-up childcare, we provide professional care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare center has a capacity of 89 childcare places and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register. At De Draaimolen, we follow gro-up's pedagogical policy, where we give children the space to develop into who they are. We believe that growing is a journey of discovery where children learn who they are, what they want, and what they can do. Our childcare professionals create a healthy, safe, and opportunity-rich environment in which every child can develop optimally. We offer development-oriented activities that match your child's age and developmental stage. Our activities stimulate language development and creative expression through arts and crafts and other creative activities. Additionally, we organize toddler gym to stimulate motor development. We work with horizontal grouping, where children are cared for in age groups. For the youngest children, we provide all necessary care such as bottle feeding, fresh fruit, and healthy snacks. For older children, we provide bread meals and hot meals. We take allergies and special dietary requirements into account. Children can rest in our special sleeping areas, and we use care products suitable for sensitive baby skin. Our outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities for nature and outdoor activities. We have a secure playground where children can play and discover. The location features secure entry, and we use a parent app to keep you updated on your child's development. Location manager Chantal Groothuizen and her team are ready to warmly welcome you and your child. We offer both full and half-day care options and work with VVE programs to prepare for primary school.
