Welcome to KC De Boomhut Ter Aar, our daycare center located at Beverlanderhof 28 in the heart of Ter Aar. We are part of Kindcentrum De Boomhut and provide childcare for children aged 0-4 at two locations in Ter Aar. Our KDV location is situated within the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Vaart, with which we collaborate intensively. This means your child grows up in an environment where childcare, education and care seamlessly connect. Everything we do revolves around the unique development of each child. We work from the vision that every child grows biggest in an environment of trust, freedom and discovery. The insights of Emmi Pikler form the basis of our pedagogical approach: we give children space to discover at their own pace, provide peace and regularity, and pay full attention to your child during care moments. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and stimulating environment in which children can develop optimally. Green and outdoor activities form the beating heart of our childcare. We believe in the power of outdoor play and natural discoveries. Our children are allowed to get dirty, feel mud and explore nature. We have a beautiful garden where children can play, garden and learn about nature. Additionally, we regularly offer excursions to the Ter Aar area. Our offer is broad and tailored to the development of young children. We provide preschool education (VE), working with thematic activities that connect to children's world of experience. Think of doing experiments, cooking, making artworks, making music and reading aloud. We have a special reading corner with children's books and regularly organize activities around language development. Sports and movement are also important: we stimulate motor development through movement activities in our spacious gym and outside in the garden. For the little ones, we have a separate baby group with quiet sleeping areas and a safe play environment. We provide diapers, wipes and bottle feeding according to parents' wishes. For toddler groups, we work with horizontal groups, where children of similar age play and learn together. We offer half and full days of care, from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with flexible childcare options. Our location is modernly furnished with secure access, spacious indoor areas and direct access to the outdoor garden. We work with professional care products and pay attention to children with allergies or special dietary needs. Parents are actively involved in childcare and we regularly organize parent evenings and meal-sharing moments.
