BSO Aquamarijn

BSO Aquamarijn is located inside Kindcentrum Aquamarijn at Donker Curtiusstraat 4 in The Hague. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, both after school hours and during school holidays. Because our BSO is in the same building as primary school Aquamarijn, children can move safely and directly from class to after-school care. A fixed team of pedagogical staff work closely with the school team to create one continuous development line. Our activities are designed to challenge children’s motor, cognitive, language and creative skills. These include making music, dance lessons, arts & crafts, playing together in our garden and reading in our library corner. We also organise regular excursions in the neighbourhood. We are open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Before school we offer early care from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m. and after school we are available until 6.30 p.m. During holidays we are open all day so that children can continue to play and discover in a familiar environment. Parents are welcome in our parent meeting room and we actively involve them in their child’s development. Twice a year we schedule a development meeting, and children from about 7 years old are invited to join the conversation. Together we ensure that every child feels safe and at home at BSO Aquamarijn.
