Kinderbelevingscentrum De Vathorst

Welcome to Kinderbelevingscentrum De Vathorst, our vibrant daycare centre located at Caraïben 6 in Hooglanderveen. We are part of Bzzzonder and provide care for up to 120 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre sits right next to the swimming pool and skate park, opposite IKEA, making us a well-known meeting place in the neighbourhood. Everything we do revolves around experience and discovery. In our eight-metre-high tree house, toddlers can climb and clamber to their hearts’ content, while babies play safely in their own garden corner. The adventurous garden invites nature and seasonal activities: together we sow, grow and harvest in our vegetable planters and feel the sun, wind and rain. The spacious gym offers plenty of room for movement activities and music and dance lessons in partnership with the Amersfoort Music School. Swimming lessons are also available. In our bright, homely group rooms we work horizontally: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are grouped by age so that we can optimally support every developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff tailor activities and materials to the child’s world of experience. We use Early Childhood Education (ECE) so that children develop language, numeracy and social skills through play. In the Cooking Studio the pre-schoolers prepare healthy snacks together and learn to discover new tastes, while the youngest children take their naps in quiet sleeping areas. Kinderbelevingscentrum De Vathorst is more than childcare: it is a meeting place where parents can meet, attend workshops or simply enjoy coffee in our hospitality area. Together with ABC De Bron-Hooglanderveen we create a warm network around every child. Everyone is welcome and together we make every day a celebration.
