Welcome to Katrijn daycare centre, located at Anna van Burenlaan 22 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of Junis Childcare and provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare centre is open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30, allowing parents to make flexible use of our services. At Katrijn, we follow Junis's pedagogical policy, which places the child's development at the centre. We offer horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for separately from preschoolers. This enables our childcare professionals to focus specifically on the unique needs of each age group. Our baby groups are equipped with quiet sleeping areas and safe play corners, while our preschool groups provide challenging play and learning environments. We believe it's important for children to feel safe and secure. That's why we work with fixed childcare professionals who build warm and stable relationships with your child. We use the Junis app, which keeps parents informed about their child's development and daily activities. From diaper changes to nap times, from meal times to play activities - everything is shared through the app. Our activities are tailored to your child's age and developmental stage. For the youngest ones, this means lots of sensory experiences, singing songs and cuddling. For toddlers and preschoolers, we organise creative activities such as painting and crafting, as well as language stimulation through reading and singing. We regularly take trips to the nearby playground and teach children about the nature around us in a playful way. We provide daily healthy and fresh meals, adapted to your child's age. For babies, we offer bottle feeding according to your preferences. For toddlers and preschoolers, we serve a warm lunch, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. We accommodate dietary requirements such as vegetarian, halal or allergy-friendly food. Our location features a spacious garden with play equipment where children can play and explore to their heart's content. We also practice outdoor sleeping when weather permits, allowing children to sleep in the fresh air. Safety is our top priority; we operate with a lock system where only authorised persons have access to the daycare centre.
